Elaina’s Story

Elaina is a homeschooled 10thgrader currently enrolled in tutoring at Springfield Center for Dyslexia and Learning. Even though I noticed learning differences in her as young as 5 years old, I didn’t recognize it as dyslexia until much later. Her continued difficulty with school prompted us to utilize various testing, therapies, curriculums, and strategies. Eventually (and thankfully) we found Springfield Center for Dyslexia and Learning, which has been quite beneficial. With their help over the past couple of years, Elaina has dramatically improved her reading, spelling, speaking, and memory. Combined with a better understanding of dyslexia, these accomplishments have boosted her confidence.
