Chloe & Addie’s Story

Chloe had a hard time with her reading and school work from a young age. She would switch her words around, and would shake when she was reading. She was often made fun of and bullied for her reading because she was not at the same level as her classmates. We felt there had to be a reason why she was behind or having trouble, so we took her to be tested and found out she has dyslexia.

Once we received her diagnosis we wanted to figure out how to help her. That is when we found the Springfield Center For Dyslexia and Learning. She started tutoring with Mrs. Leisa and her reading ability took off! She learned many skills and different techniques that she could use to help her read better and succeed, not only in her school work but in everyday life. She still has hard days, but without the Springfield Center for Dyslexia and Learning she would still be struggling and way behind.
